I didn't have a problem with it. We're getting close to the playoffs. Get used to it. You may not remember what the playoffs look like, but hits like that happen all the time in them.

I don't think 5 or 6 strides is really ever allowed, but obviously last night it was.

I think it's blatant charge and a blind side hit...minimum 2 minutes.

Most hits can be seen as a charge IMO because most of the time they are coming from a long ways away. I personally did not see anything wrong with the hit but loved the way 3 other guys on the ice "stood up" to Ott.

I think you are blinded by my leafs avatar..but I am a BIG hockey fan and watch many teams and almost a game nightly!!!! IT'S STILL A CHARGE, regardless of time of year or what team I like to cheer for.

I think maybe you should watch it again. Clean hit, shoulder to shoulder, it was a borderline charge at best. I watched the game twice last night, didn't really mind it on either occasion.

No doubt we'd be up in arms if there was an injury. And I agree it was a charge, but so are most hits that simply go uncalled. Seems like it is always the same players who do it though.

meh you're probably right but honestly it was a heavy hit. I thought Pacioretty's elbow to Kaleta was probably worse, as much as I enjoyed seeing it happen.
